this evening/morning when i got off of work,(3:30 AM), I decided to lay on the floor and just watch my cats. Then i got up, because i realized that most people who lay on the kitchen floor are probably either hurt or dead, and I am neither. i have failed in the past couple months to recognize the awesomeness of my 2 feline friends. So monster destroyer and fireball, here is my shout out to you 2.\
My life in the past month has been very boring, due to reasons i bring upon myself, namely work and my tendency to be shy/lazy about hanging out with people. As much as i complain about how much work sucks, I take pride in the fact thati willingly put myself through 40+ hour weeks and make my own money. I love the fact that I have basically accomplished something, even if it is not very important in the grand scheme of things. I just wanted to say that.
by the way, anyone doing anything the 4th? I get off of work at 8:30 and i want to partake in some festivities

The show wednesday was cool. drew now has a new move to do on stage("the hat").
No work thursday so i slept in, really late. Dinner was cool, even if the power was messed up big time. A lesson was learned: if there is doubt that the seafood isn't cooked enough, don't eat it. Later on we watched a really cool fake documentary at dave's. that movie was cool.
today at work, downtown had speed street so me and these people at work explored it. It's great walking through downtown with 3 guys in their 20s-30s who are tech guys, some with children, and discussing how great of a practical joke it would be if someone made www.lemonparty.org stickers and put them on the back of random cars in a parking garage. Internet is bombing out, so i'm using it in 3 minute bursts.
Last day tomorrow. colt got tricked by my phone voicemail message, which is great.

Today I haven't been doing a whole lot, just sitting in a cubicle looking online at college stuff. Some of this stuff is really cool. This is the website for the major i'm going to do at Georgia Tech next year. It's cool because it involves computer science and media; basically, i'll be working on video games and 3d design eventually.
Some of the class descriptions sound awesome. Stuff like:
LCC 2730: Constructing the Moving Image (3 hrs) Students examine conceptual, formal, aesthetic, and technical approaches to reconsider film, video, and animation within the context of emerging digital forms. They learn to further the development of new, digital forms of the moving image by analyzing. mastering, and expanding its conventions. Students will engage in continual creation, experimentation, and analysis. This is a studio course, with regular design assignments and design critiques. The course includes work in montage editing, camerawork, storyboarding, advanced editing, streaming video, and interactive video.
LCC 4725: Game Design as a Cultural Practice Students analyze games as cultural artifacts and gameplay as a patterned cultural experience similar to theater, music, and other participatory creative activities. The emphasis is on the design elements common to games, from ancient board games to computer games, and the expressive possibilities and cultural concerns specific to digital games. The course includes theoretical readings and close analysis of specific games. The course will consider the primary theoretical contexts for understanding games, including anthropological, biological, sociological, aesthetic, and literary frameworks. It will include the close analysis of influential and representative games from ancient times to the present, and will engage students in design exercises and in the creation of original digital games.
LCC 3352: Film and/as Technology Examines the development of film technology and the implications of that technology for cinema?s treatment of technology.
it'll be like computer programming/computer art/film. So pretty much when i'm done with college, if i'm not a failure, which i don't think i'll be, I will be a complete computer badass. this looks completely cool too. I'm actually also thinking about taking Japanese, because that would be totally leet, and then i could do this, which would actually cost less for a semester than being in georgia.
Sorry about the length, but I'm pretty excited about it

I typed something large, but it was garbage so I deleted it.
Work is cool, especially work 22 stories up. The view is amazing, and if i get bored i could just go to a window and look outside for an hour or so. The fact that a lot of cool people work right near me is also very nice.

last day of high school classes was incredibly relaxed. I'm not sure exactly if i'm sad or not about high school being over, I don't think it's actually hit me yet. in photo today i made this with colored pencils. Not sure if i like the picture or not, but it was fun just coloring.
Went to best wok after school and then went to meet my senior project guy at bank of america. It's really laid back there, looks like a fun place to work. Tonight i also spent at least 2 hours on this site just listening and reading. Gonna apply at marble slab tomorrow also because i really need a job.

I need to learn how to put my thoughts into words, because I have way too much on my mind. Then maybe i can learn to turn my words into actions.
Just a thought.
